The Evelyn Dunlap Foundation is dedicated to empowering individuals through accessible education and fighting hunger in our communities. We believe that education is the cornerstone of progress and that no one should have to choose between education and basic needs.
Through our scholarship programs, community initiatives, and partnerships with leading institutions, we're committed to building a more equitable future where everyone has the chance to achieve their full potential.
Founded in honor of Evelyn Dunlap after her passing on January 4, 2023, our foundation emerged from her son JonPierre Carlo's commitment to continuing his mother's legacy of faith, service, and love for others. What began as a tribute to her life's values has grown into a comprehensive organization that spans multiple programs and partnerships.
Our journey has been inspired by Evelyn's own life story—born one of 12 children, she overcame challanges to create a loving home where education and dignity were paramount, values that now drive our mission to empower others.
Evelyn Dunlap (1927-2023) was a woman of profound faith and unwavering strength who raised six children as a single mother while serving her church and community. Her life embodied the principles of compassion, dignity, and service that continue to guide our foundation today.
